Fundraising ideas
for corporates

We’re here to help you create a plan to maximise involvement and build morale within your organisation.

This year, why not take the opportunity to connect, team build and have some fun at the workplace – and support Bear Cottage at the same time!

The best part about supporting Superhero Week is that you can tailor your fundraising activities to best suit your organisation’s structure and staff. We’re here to help you create a plan to maximise involvement and build morale within your organisation.

John Holland CPB Ghella talk about their involvement with Superhero Week and why you should get your cape on too.

Their journey began after Terry, Project Director, received a heartfelt thank-you letter that shared the powerful narrative behind Bear Cottage, following a family donation. He saw a natural alignment between engineering - “to help society” - and the purpose of Bear Cottage. From that moment, supporting the cause became part of the project’s mission.

What started small quickly grew into something remarkable. Through raffles, BBQs and in-kind contributions, and as collaboration expanded across other project teams, the fundraising totals kept climbing. Terry describes the impact of Bear Cottage on children and families facing unimaginable challenges as “incredible,” something that inspired not only him but the entire leadership team and staff.

The enthusiasm was contagious - as Terry puts it, “from little things big things grow” - so why not get your cape on and be part of something truly meaningful?

We want to keep the ‘super’ in Superhero Week so here are a few ideas to whet your corporate appetite:

Sponsor a crazy activity

imagine your CEO dressed as Batman for a day!

Swear jar collections

are a sure way to raise money and an idea to keep all year round!

Donate

your coffee money during Superhero Week (or beyond perhaps?)

Ask your CEO or Executive

to dollar-match funds raised by your staff.

Hold a sales event

and donate a percentage of earnings raised to Bear Cottage.

Hold a morning tea

Superhero-themed of course!
